What to put in a report
- What happened
- What you did, what you saw, and what you expected to see instead.
- When and where
- The race weekend and session, and the time it happened, with your time zone.
- A screenshot
- Or a screen recording, if something moves when it should not.
- Your device
- The model and its iOS version, and on an iPhone Duo whether it was open or folded.
- The app's version
- In the app's Settings, under About: Version, such as 1.0 (12).
- On the website
- The browser you use, and the version written at the foot of the race sheet.
Before you write
- No notifications
- Check that iOS Settings, Notifications, trackweather allows them, then the races you follow in the app's Settings, Notifications. A rain alert comes only when rain is on its way or falling, from an hour before a session to its end; the briefing comes 30 minutes before each session.
- A blank map or no radar
- The map and the weather need a connection: the app keeps neither for offline use. When a source is down, the app says the data is missing rather than showing a dry sky.
Privacy
The app has no account and never asks for your location. The privacy policy says what notifications send, where it is kept and how to remove it.
